To Purchase Quality Tolerance, Inc. of Gates
(Rochester, New York)
Peter Schott, President of XLI Corporation today
announced the acquisition of Quality Tolerance, Inc. (QTI).
XLI is located at 55 Vanguard Parkway in Rochester. QTI
is located at 15 Marway Circle in Gates.
Peter Schott, President of XLI, sees strategic
acquisitions as consistent with the company’s long term
plans for growth and development. "XLI’s mission is to
increase customer satisfaction, provide opportunities
for our employees and continuously improve our ability
to meet customer requirements," said Schott. "The
acquisition will immediately increase XLI’s sales
revenue and expand our customer base. And, the ability
to cross-sell both companies combined resources,
capabilities and facilities will make each company
stronger together than alone."
Richard Minoia, President of QTI will step down to
retire and the company will continue operations in gates
with the current workforce under the leadership of Matt
Minoia as The QTI Division of XLI Corporation. Current
QTI customers will benefit from access to XLI’s value
added services such as design and engineering, sheet

addition, XLI gains eight skilled employees, five CNC
work centers and production orders.
"Communication will be the key to a smooth transition
for QTI customers, employees and subcontractors." Said
Schott. "The stake-holders of both companies should rest
assured that XLI will work quickly to seize the
opportunities presented by the acquisition and to
realize the benefits for all."
