XLI Corporation Achieves ISO 9001:2008
Quality Management System Upgrade

(Rochester, New York) XLI Corporation today completed the upgrade of its quality management system registration to ISO 9001:2008. NSF International Strategic Registrations audited XLI’s quality management system and determined that it meets all the requirements of the revised standard. The registration is valid through November 11, 2011, subject to periodic surveillance audits.

The registration means that XLI customers can be confident in the company’s ability to perform as promised. “We are always looking for ways to improve, to provide more value to our customers, to reduce risks,” said Frank LaPlaca, XLI Corporation Sales and Marketing Manager. “The new registration raises the bar and demonstrates that our systems and processes are robust, adaptable and effective. It’s about more than just producing quality products; the quality system really defines how we operate, how we do business. Customers are more confident in XLI knowing we are registered to the international standard.”

ISO 9001:2008 replaces the 2000 edition. It provides clarifications to the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 based on eight years’ experience of implementing the standard worldwide and introduces changes intended to improve consistency with the environmental management system standard, ISO 14001:2004.
