CNC Laser Machining
Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) laser machining can be used in
a wide variety of materials including aluminum, steel, and stainless
steel. The process creates clean edges and leaves only a small heat
affected zone to produce components that are stress and burr free.
CNC programs for laser machining can often be created on our
computer systems directly from your CAD drawing files. With laser
machining under complete CNC control, XLI can provide you with
finished parts in less time and at reduced costs.
CNC Punching
Our CNC punching services include standard tool, multi-tool, and
tool rotation capabilities to provide cost effective production of
blanks. We also can provide custom tooling, CNC laser machining
services, or the combination of technologies which best meet your
requirements. |

CNC Forming
Our CNC forming equipment allows many types of complex
components to be formed completely in a single step for
improved quality, consistency, and productivity. We also
have complete internal support for designing and building
specialized press brake tooling when required for your
project.
Welding and Riveting
XLI provides spot welding of steel or stainless steel and
Metal Inert Gas (MIG) or Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding of
steel, stainless steel, or aluminum. We also provide
riveting services for joining components and complete
cosmetic grinding and finishing services.
Assembly Services
XLI manufactures mechanical and electromechanical assemblies in
prototype to production quantities. As part of this, we can provide
PEM, Captive, Southco, and custom hardware insertion; electrical,
electronic, and mechanical components, coating;
painting; plating; silk screening; or testing services as needed to
deliver completed and fully functional assemblies for your use.
